Getting Started as a Coach

Session gives you your own coaching site at yourname.joinsession.io. This guide walks you through setting up your site and getting your first members.

Create Your Account

1. Go to joinsession.io/register
2. Enter your email address
3. Choose your subdomain (this becomes yourname.joinsession.io)
4. Check your email for a magic link to sign in

Choose Your Subdomain Carefully

Your subdomain can't be changed after registration. Pick something that represents your brand.

Your Admin Dashboard

After signing in, you'll see your admin dashboard with quick access to:

• Pages - Create and manage content
• Collections - Organize pages into groups
• Contacts - View your members
• Memberships - Manage access to your content
• Settings - Configure your site

Your First Steps

1. Configure Your Settings

Go to Settings and set up:

• Business Name - How your site appears to members
• Tagline - A brief description of your offering
• Brand Color - Your accent color

2. Create Your First Content

Head to Pages and create a welcome page:

1. Click New Page
2. Add a title
3. Write your content using the block editor
4. Save the page

3. Organize with Collections

Collections group pages together (like a course or content library):

1. Go to Collections
2. Click New Collection
3. Give it a name and description
4. Add pages to the collection

4. Create a Product

Set up what you're offering:

1. Go to Products (/admin/products)
2. Click New Product
3. Name it and add a description
4. Link it to your collection(s)

5. Add Your First Member

Grant someone access to your content:

1. Go to Memberships
2. Click Add Membership
3. Enter their email
4. Select your product
5. Choose "Free" for complimentary access
6. Click Add Membership

They'll receive a magic link email to sign in.
