Account Settings
Manage your Session account settings from the Settings page.
Accessing Settings
Click Settings in the navigation to access your account options.
Account Information
Your Email
Your email address is used for:
- Signing in via magic links
- Receiving updates from your coach
To change your email:
- Enter your new email address
- Click Save
- Magic links will now be sent to your new address
Email Change
Changing your email takes effect immediately. Your next sign-in link will go to the new address.
Billing Email
If you have a paid subscription, you may see a separate billing email. This is the email that receives:
- Payment receipts
- Invoice notifications
To change your billing email, use the Stripe billing portal (see below).
Subscription Management
If you have an active paid subscription, you'll see:
- Product name - What you're subscribed to
- Price - Your current rate
- Status - Active, past due, or cancelled
Managing Your Subscription
For paid memberships with Stripe:
- Click Manage Subscription
- You'll be taken to Stripe's billing portal
- From there you can:
- Update your payment method
- View past invoices
- Cancel your subscription
Cancelling
To cancel your subscription:
- Click Manage Subscription
- In the Stripe portal, click Cancel subscription
- Choose when to cancel (immediately or at period end)
Access After Cancellation
If you cancel "at period end," you keep access until your current billing period ends. You won't be charged again.
Free/Complimentary Access
If you have free access, you'll see:
- "Complimentary access" status
- No payment information (nothing to manage)
Security
Signing In
Session uses magic links instead of passwords:
- Enter your email on the sign-in page
- Check your email for a link
- Click the link to sign in
Links expire after 15 minutes for security.
Signing Out
To sign out:
- Click your email/profile in the navigation
- Select Sign out
You can sign back in anytime with a new magic link.
Multiple Devices
You can be signed in on multiple devices at once. Each device maintains its own session.
